U.S. WILPF'S Mini-Grant Program

The WILPF Minigrant Program nurtures the work being done by Issue Committees and Branches.

We fund projects that serve WILPF’s mission and vision by building our program. We favor projects that can be shared and replicated and that will have a national impact. The tiered levels of funding, currently ranging from $250-2,500, are designed for flexibility and a diversity of needs, and may fund small one-time projects, seed larger efforts to help procure outside funding, and strengthen and expand on-going work from the local to UN level.

In 2017 WILPF has 3 granting cycles, with deadlines of February 15 (NOTE EXTENDED DEADLINE), June 1 and October 1.

Emergency grants may also be available.

New! Miami Fund for Peace Education Grants

Starting in 2017 there is a new source of funds that can be used by WILPF branches for Peace Education. The funding comes from the Miami Education for Peace Fund which resides at the Jane Addams Peace Association.

The grants, from $50 to $500 are available for strictly educational programs that incorporate WILPF Priorities as well as other programs and projects on education for peace. Grants are also available to International WILPF and the US Section; Grants are made available to all areas as fairly as possible, but preference is given to small branches in greater need for financial assistance. For 2017, there will be 3 funding cycles, with application deadlines of February 15, June 1 and October 1.
